While he has his (many and dire) shortcommings, there are times when my father comes through for me.

He's insisted on giving me his tax return to help replace my stolen computer.

It's 1100 dollars.

It's going to help enormously (I'm actually doing a rental thing on the computer, but I'm going to chuck it on the credit-card-of-doom that I've been struggling with since March).

So yeah, pay of credit card a bit with that money, and throw some change back to Omniprop to assist our recovery from the theft.

Also (while I'm not sure if they want to be publically named) there are a couple of people out there who I can't thank enough for their help through what was a pretty crappy incident for me, my loved one, a couple of friends and Omniprop itself. Kudos to you both.

On a side note, anyone want a crystal cabinet? At the moment it's just got some old star wars cards and my degree in it, it's a bit of a waste of space..... I want to off-load it, if you're interested let me know. I payed about 1200 for it in a fit of stupid, I'll take 500. Otherwise I'll e-bay it and hope it catches someones eye. It's a good quality piece of furniture from villa and hut. It's oiled re-cycled hardwood, in good condition. It's about 1.8m high, 90cm One warning, it will stain carpet if it's left sitting on it.
