Apr. 2nd, 2008 07:39 pmHospitals are fucking wierd places... I spent about an hour in the waiting room post admission....
I listened to: a farmer from swan hill talk about how you can just pour battery acid onto sunspots (potential melanomae) and they just vanish...
The lady he was talking to was talking to spent her time trying to convince him he should organise a group to blow up the state government's new water pipelines that are running near Swan Hill...
After the farmer went in to theatre, another gentleman stuck up a conversation with the same lady, about religion. She's an Adventists who decided to leave the 'institution', but has remained true to the faith. Or something. Went on to talk about how she leads her life. Every morning, she prays and asks the Holy Spirit to fill her with the thought's it wants her to think each day, and asks it to chastise her if she varies from this straight away......
At least it saves you the effort of thinking for yourself.
On another note, I'm fine. Can't feel anything yet. Eating pumpkin soup. First real food for a while.... And it's only "real" in inverted commas (go tinned soup).
I'm told my bottom wisdom teeth were 'well attached' - so we'll see how I look tomorrow!.
So yes, stay posted for many updates while I spend my time home bored a lot!.
