I had a dance lesson (a very informal one) with my aunt Anna yesterday so that [ profile] mstakenidentity and I can waltz at the wedding. It was awesome, I had a great deal of fun! And the actual dancing part of it was deeply enjoyable. Something in it tickles my romantic side I think....

We're going to keep it up over the coming weeks, and (hopefully) look stunning on the day. At least that's the plan.

And I only burst out laughing twice! And I think it was only noticeable once....

I think this weekend was one of those ones that leaves you tireder than you were when you started.

I worked 1 shift at the libraries (which is great because weekend work=megabucks), one shift in the playground (where the kids decided to drink paint), had a wedding on Friday night, was told of another impending wedding on Saturday night and then caught up with dear friends on Sunday night.

All while cheafurring my beloved to and back from crazy work hours of crazy. Including: collecting her from work at 11pm, then dropping her off again at 7am the next day.

No wonder I slept in this morning.....

Anyway, yeah.

T'were good!

Glad that weekends like that don't happen too often though.

Woke up this morning. Felt about as I expected to, and probably about as I deserved to. I have to run off to Fitzroy, take care of a couple of things and then I think I'm going to grab the car, drive it back home again and generally sleep more. Oh the wonders of a job that closes down this time of year.

Anyway yesterday. I found yesterday very touching. I think that hearing Sarah and Daniel admit that (in spite of their many antics) they have a true, simple and deep love for one another was an extraordinarily beautiful moment in the lives of all present.

The day belonged to the two of them. Every aspect of the ceremony, the festivities that followed and the words that were said were pure Sarah and Daniel.

So congratulations Mr Daniel and Mrs Sarah. Enjoy your trip, and I look forward to seeing the photos. And yes, I will see them before the two of you do :P.

I saw two of my best friends in the world get married.

It was wonderful.

I may be pissed.

Ed, you spoke as well as anyone could have, well done.

To Dave and Raya, congratulations, happiness, CHILDREN! (apparently it's important to Ukrainians....) and stuff...

This post is brought to you by both Seamus and Chris.

Love you both.
