Philosophical moment
Mar. 22nd, 2006 05:25 pmI was walking down Swanton street towards Flinders street station last night. I was grumpy. I was muttering at the crowds and how the games were a pain in the bum. I was muttering about my actual pain in the bum. I was muttering that people were inconsiderate bastards, and hand no traffic management skills. I was muttering that I was hot and bothered, and that this throng of people was tough to move through. I was just muttering in general.
Then a young girl walked past me with dark glasses and a white cane coming the other way. I checked my muttering, felt ashamed of myself and walked on. Suddenly the crowd wasn't so bad.....
