This week

This week has been quite boring. I've been holed up at home sick (came home early from work on Tuesday, haven't been back), and as such I've been remarkably unproductive. I haven't picked up the publicity material for The Bacchae, I haven't written a press release, I haven't gotten the forms into the box office to open the shows up for bookings, I haven't really been doing much at all....

I've played zelda, while I had the breath to do it without coughing much. And I've spent a LOT of time stuffing around on the internet....

So yeah....

Not much fun.

But at least I've had Christina as my co-sufferer, so it hasn't been all bad. I know that all things considered she's had a lot more to put up with than me sickness-wise, so i can't really complain.

But yes - now taking antibiotics (the doc advised I wait a couple of days to see if things improved before I started - I didn't improve.... meaning it's more likely to be a bacterial infection than viral - so the antibiotics might actually do something).

So we'll see what transpires over the weekend.

I also hear that Helen isn't doing so well, so again - I can't really complain....

Home

Well today was shit.

I have a headache that I can't shake (heavy head, dizzy, yucky kind of headache), a cough that won't go away, and just exasperates the headache, a fever, hot eyes (does that make sense), general grogginess, and a doctors appointment tomorrow.....

And now I'm hungry.

Please note that this week is the one week that my building is pretty much empty except for me.....

Sigh....

Timing.....

LEGITIMISATION!

I was previously just sick, but now I'm sick with a medical certificate till the end of the week. Go team. I feel legitimised. On another note, I'll be home for the rest of the afternoon, and probably tomorrow too (see how I'm feeling - my god I'll have a lot to catch up on, but that's life).

Soooo should anyone be bored, come in for a cuppa! I'll probably be around eating bread, rice and potatoes :).

PS thanks for the soup Eva - it's lovely and highly theraputic.
